Poulet Braisé is one of those places that lives up to its reputation. Known for their grilled chicken, the franchise delivers consistently great food with flavors that stand out in a competitive market. While there are a few minor drawbacks, the overall experience is satisfying and worth recommending.
ATMOSPHERE
The vibe is casual and welcoming, but I do have to mention the music. Rap with explicit lyrics doesn’t feel like the right choice for a family-friendly franchise. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it detracts from the otherwise pleasant atmosphere. If they adjusted their playlist to something more neutral, it would definitely enhance the experience.
FOOD
• CHICKEN
The chicken here is undoubtedly the star of the show. Whether you go for their signature grilled chicken, wings, or tenders, you’re in for a treat. The meat is always juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to that ideal level of smokiness. The wings are crispy with just the right amount of char, and the tenders are tender (as they should be) without ever feeling dry. The portion sizes are generous, making every bite a joy.
• SIDES & SAUCES
The sauces deserve special praise—they’re creamy, flavorful, and complement the chicken beautifully. From tangy to spicy, there’s a sauce for every taste, and I honestly couldn’t pick a favorite because they’re all so good. The sides also hold their own, pairing well with the main dishes.
Avocado toasts are too small to my taste but correct.
• DESSERTS & DRINKS
I tried nearly everything on the menu, and while most of it was excellent, the pancakes (to-go) were a major letdown. Opening the box to find plain pancakes with nothing to accompany them, especially considering the price, was disappointing. For a brand that gets so much else right, this felt like an oversight.
The drink options are varied, though I was sad to see they don’t offer virgin mojitos to-go. Still, the in-house drinks are refreshing and thoughtfully crafted.
SERVICE
The service here is solid—no complaints. Staff are polite, efficient, and attentive without being intrusive. Orders are accurate, and everything runs smoothly, which is exactly what you want in a well-established franchise.
CONCLUSION
Poulet Braisé continues to impress with its consistently flavorful chicken, great sauces, and dependable service. While the ambient music and lackluster pancakes were minor disappointments, they don’t overshadow the quality of the food and overall experience. If you’re looking for juicy, flavorful grilled chicken with all the right sides and sauces, this is the place to go. Just don’t order the pancakes to-go! Otherwise I’m coming back once in a while. Great spot!

I totally enjoyed the food and despite the queue, they managed to get people in quickly and served the food on time. My order was mixed up but the
Aurelia lady took responsibility and helped correct it and heat up my food. She was nice, calm and professional all through.
